NDOKI NMANMA NU! A CALL TO SERVE
Umu Ndoki! Unu Saalachi Eeh!
My name is Johnmartins Maduabuchi Ijere, a proud son of Umu-Igube Achara of Akirika Clan, Ali Ndoki and by the grace of God the convener of "Ndoki NmaNma-Nu MOVEMENT". Hence I feel it is of great importance to pen this down, thus acquainting us all how this Great, Divine vision (NDOKI NMANMA NU) was born and what it stands for.
Growing up as a youth with great passion for the unity peace & progress of our people in a toxic cultural environment, where we the people need to know "whom we are",whom we are called to be, as well as lodging our identities firmly in the transcendent reality of the truth; I wasn't satisfied with the state of things actually because it was crystal clear that most of the challenges we face as a people are self inflicted.
Using our culture as a case study; despite the fact that #NdeNdoki posses a rich cultural heritage, it was gradually neglected,(it is so bad that our youths & children in majority even find it difficult to express themselves language wise, which I was a victim and we all know that language is indeed the heartbeat of any culture).
Seeing that they are many Ndokians especially youths facing this same challenge, I consistently thought of an approach to address this challenges, it occurred to me that our various skills/talents might be a tool in addressing some of this challenges.
Thus it became necessary to create a platform where we could share and gain knowledge of our proud cultural heritage.
A platform where we can tell ourselves the truth, accept our confronting challenges, not to run away from them but to tackle them in "UNITY" and in BRAVENESS OF HEART.
This passion provoked the birth of this Movement called NDOKI NMANMA NU, precisely September 2017 with the #Motto:

OUR VISION:

"OGANIHU NDOKI WU OBI OLI"
Ndoki NmanmaNu as a movement believes in the unending unity of our people despite political,religious and state affiliations. We believe "UNITY" is a paramount virtue needed to achieve the progress & development we clamour for as a people.
EDUCATION:
Education is the basic right of our children & as such it is our dream to contribute our own quota to see that our people have access to this basic right called education at ease which will serve as a bedrock to the development of our land.
WEALTH CREATION;
In the aspect of wealth creation (poverty alleviation), we intend tackling the menace of poverty via self development initiatives/programmes such as: skill acquisitions, symposiums,trainings etc.
We therefore believe that, self realization & discovery of purpose is essential in fighting this disease called poverty in our land.
CULTURE & RESEARCH:
As regards the great cultural heritage we enjoy as a people, #NDOKI_NMANMA_NU_MOVEMENT, shall focus massively on exploring our rich cultural heritage as well as embarking on researches to further consolidate whom we are as a people, thereby creating a platform even for generations unborn, so our culture,norms & beliefs can be preserved and improved for posterity sake.
#UmuNdoki, in summary #NdokiNmanmaNuMovement is a call to serve our fatherland, for if we fail to get this done now, our children will have to pass through greater pains in defining their path tomorrow in such toxic cultural environment we find ourselves today.
